Totocaster is my virtual nick-name, a combination of my real name – Toto and Stratocaster Guitar. I’m a Mac and iPhone programmer with lot’s of other hobbies, mainly I enjoy photography and playing guitar.

I’m independent software developer and mainly interested in Mac OS and iOS software. I’m also running very young software company 63BITS located in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 63BITS we do business software for enterprise clients.

I’m former Microsoft .NET and business applications developer which few years ago switched to Mac and abandoned Microsoft related products all-togather. Because 63BITS is packed with talented programmers and technical people from all over the Georgia, I do only management and client relationship work only. Mainly I work with iPhone, iPad and some web projects too. I’m considering some other iPhone and Mac projects in future. After working with Macs and iPhones for a few years I switched form client work to public retails products.

I’m constantly working on many personal open-sourse projects fro iOS and Mac.

Photography

Photography is my main hobby for now. I love everything in it, starting with photographic process form shooting to development and finishing with just looking at other’s great work. I also consider myself a photographic gear geek, I love cameras and especially lenses, I have little collection of old soviet film cameras and all kinds of lenses for my main tool – Nikon FM and N65 film cameras.

Design and Typography Love

I just love it. I love good, well-made, beautifully-crafted, user-friendly, innovative and cute things. I love Apple. I love Aston Martin and BMW cars, Leica cameras, work of Dieter Rams, Stefan Sagmeister, Chris Bangle, Helvetica typeface and Swiss design, and anything else what looks, feels and works beautifully.

Guitar and Music

I felt in love with guitar when I was teenager and since then it was fantastic journey throw my emotional life, playing guitar is one of the most important things in my life when I’m sad or happy. I do not record much but there are some of mine draft recording on Soundcloud, so do not forget to check ‘em out.

What is Totocaster?

Totocaster is my virtual nickname I got from my guitar, a Fender Stratocaster with many heavy modifications I did it to fit my playing and musical style. Toto is my real name and -caster is from Stratocaster, obviously. In real life nobody calls me so, I’m just Toto who you can find on many internet services as a totocaster.
